DIY frenzy.

so I have 1 finished project. this cabinet came from a thrift store in pickens. I picked out some awesome teal(ish) paint first. I chose some antique-style glass knobs from world market to replace the metal ones, and put in a glass rack to hang some cool glasses we got at Ross.

Cracker Barrel with the parents is one of my favorite past times. My dad says lots of inappropriate things way to loudly, and mom laughs. The whole time. Aren’t they adorable?

a lot to look forward to.

sometimes, when it’s time to go to sleep at night usually, i get so excited thinking about the very near future.

some things i’m looking forward to.
1. wedding planning-it’s so fun! and [i think] Seth is enjoying it as much as me!
2. our Africa reunion, and all things related.
3. fixing up our [mine and seth's] new apartment. this isn’t happening until july, but we are already thinking about decorating, painting, etc. we’re pretty pumped.
4. getting to put my furniture in our new place. so i ordered [and paid for!!] a new living room set and bedroom set from Rooms to Go. did i mention the living room set comes with some unnecessarily large flat screen tv? i’m not sure when we became such adults, but it definitely has it’s perks.
5. our wedding. october 9th. i couldn’t be more thrilled to marry the man i want to spend every day of the rest of my life with.

also, i am sort of obsessed with diy projects right now. maybe i will share some of my success/failures via blog. maybe.

life is good. and i am most definitely blessed.
